The 2025 Oakville Film Festival (OFFA) marks 12 years of celebrating the best films from Oakville and surrounding communities, Canada, and across the globe. This amazing local cultural event runs from Wednesday June 18 to Wednesday June 25 and here at ACE we wouldn’t dream of missing it! This is our eighth year of participation as an official sponsor.
This year’s festival is bigger than ever, featuring a record-breaking 105 feature films, documentaries, and shorts. The films include Canadian and International Premieres, and guests from around the world will participate. Tickets range from $15 for a single admission to one showtime or online collection, to full-access passes with admission to unlimited movies, events, virtual shows, Q&As and parties throughout the week.
Sharp Corner
ACE Coworking is the presenting sponsor of “Sharp Corner” which will be screened on Monday June 23 at 9pm.
We are excited to present this well reviewed psychological thriller (92% on the “Tomatometer”!) directed by Jason Buxton and starring Ben Foster and Cobie Smulders (of “How I Met Your Mother”). The film follows Josh, a troubled man increasingly consumed by the fatal car crashes in front of his house. As his obsession takes hold, he begins to spiral, placing his wife and son in jeopardy and setting in motion a series of events that threaten to permanently break the family apart. “A smart premise is poignantly brought to life by Foster and Smulders, making for a nerve-rattlingly tense and a family drama that is unapologetically gutting.” (Read full review here.)

OFFA Awards Ceremony
ACE Coworking has a been long-time supporter of the local film festival. Over the years ACE founder, Nancy Fornasiero, has held volunteer positions with OFFA; ACE’s Robinson Street location has served as the venue for the OFFA gala afterparty; and ACE currently provides meeting space for OFFA’s hard-working board members.
This year for the first time, the best of the best of the festival will be celebrated at ACE Coworking! On Saturday June 21, the prestigious OFFA Filmmaker Awards Event will take place at ACE’s 132 Trafalgar Rd location.
“Supporting the arts and creative entrepreneurs makes Oakville a better place to live, learn, and have fun. So it makes sense to help OFFA anyway we can,” says Fornasiero.
